We aim to be—Covid-19 permitting—as ambitious as we can for these special and holy services. There will be a mix of online and in-person ways to join our worship, including the first service in our refreshed church building. Please do check our social media channels for any updates and further information. Advance booking is mandatory for our Eucharist service on Easter Day in our refreshed church building.

Palm Sunday, 28 March

10am – Zoom: Palm crosses will be available to collect from Peterhouse or delivered to households in advance. These will be blessed (virtually!) at the beginning of the Zoom service.

Maundy Thursday, 1 April

7pm – Outside St Peter's and livestreamed on Facebook: This will be an outdoor service of Holy Communion, where we can meet in person at St Peter's. The service will begin with a gathering around our firepit to hear the story of the last supper. We will leave quietly at the end of the service and ‘keep watch’ in our own homes.

10pm – livestreamed on Facebook: This short traditional service (Tenebrae) of a reading of the Passion narrative while candles are extinguished will be broadcast from the Summers’ vicarage porch.

Good Friday, 2 April

12noon-1pm – Outside St Peter's and livestreamed on Facebook: This will be an outdoor service in which (socially distanced) we gather by St Peter’s Vicarage and have a mini walk of witness through the forest to outside church. There will be a simple Communion after we have venerated the cross.

Easter Day, 4 April

6am – Outside St Peter's and livestreamed on Facebook: We will gather around our firepit at the church for the blessing of the new fire and Paschal (Easter), followed by the singing of the Exultet. By the warmth and light of the fire we will hear the story of salvation, renew our baptismal vows, and receive Easter Communion.

10am – Easter Parish Eucharist inside St Peter's and livestreamed on Facebook: The plan is for this to be our first service back in church. More will announced closer to the time and all Covid safety measures will be in place. Our Eventbrite booking page will go live at midday on Wednesday 24th March.
