Outdoors Learning
Is there a better place to run forest school activities than in an actual forest? Actually, yes there is - in a forest churchyard! Alongside the wonderful biodiversity of our ancient woodland, we have the massive advantage of a purpose built fire pit, mud kitchen, and toilets, within a safely enclosed space. All we need are volunteers to turn the huge potential of these facilities into a huge success story, and YOU can be part of this story!
If you are looking for a way to help youngsters learn and flourish in the great outdoors, volunteering to support our forest school activities will be a great fit for you. You will have a great time rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in whatever the weather. Assisting on forest school activities will help you work towards certifying as a forest school instructor. We can also help you organise sessions in our churchyard to gain higher levels of forest school accreditation.
If you are happy to volunteer and turn St Peter-in-the-Forest into a thriving forest school activity centre, please fill out our Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
