About the event
This tour will tell the story of our forest church from its consecration in 1840 to the present day. The story of St Peter-in-the-Forest is also the story of the development and urbanisation of Walthamstow, so expect a good blend of architectural, cultural, and social history.
The tour takes place on a day full of community activities, including things outdoors and inside, and a community lunch. If you turn up at midday, you will be able to enjoy food before your tour!
This tour is part of our wider National Lottery Heritage Fund(ed) activity plan. For more information about the rest of our Easter activites, please visit our website: www.stpeterintheforest.org/events
You must book in advance through our Eventbrite page
If you need to cancel your ticket(s), please do so at least 48 hours in advance so that we have the chance to readvertise your space and ensure that someone else can enjoy the activity in your place. Bookings cancelled closer than 48 hours will not be refunded.
