Gardening Workshop - 'Making a Dead Hedge'
In the first of our bi-monthly gardening workshops, Tim Hewitt (head gardener at Walthamstow St Mary's) will be instructing us in the art of dead hedge making. Free for volunteers!

Time & Location
26 Mar, 10:30
London, 18 Woodford New Rd, London E17 3PP, UK
About the event
St Peter's churchyard is a priority habitat within Epping Forest. It is a beautiful place to be in nature, but with plenty of work to do to keep it (reasonably) tidy. We want our churchyard to be suitable for visiting families and our various outdors activities, but also a good home for local wildlife.
Part of our overall volunteer programme is aimed at boosting the biodiversity of our churchyard and managing the space more effectively. Tim's training sessions, every two months, will focus on a new area, with skills applicable to other green spaces you might help manage (including your own garden at home!)
If you sign up as part of our volunteer programme and take part on our monthly gardening drop-ins, we are happy to refund your ticket to this session and future sessions. You can sign up in advance here: https://www.stpeterintheforest.org/volunteer
Click here to make an advance booking and reserve your place on this workshop!
If you cancel your place less than 48 hours in advance you will be unable to claim a refund. This gives us time to readvertise and to fill activity spaces, ensuring that all have the opportunity to take part.
