London, 18 Woodford New Rd, London E17 3PP, UK

About the event

St Peter-in-the-Forest is collaborating with the Waltham Forest Antigua & Barbuda and Dominica Twinning Association to produce a cookery book which blends cultures and flavours, and needs illustrating by Waltham Forest's young people!

Artist Hattie Collins is running two workshops on Saturday, March 5th, each using different materials and methods.

Kids aged 4+ and their parents will get stuck in to a range of activities, with something fun and creative for everyone of any ability. Help create some colourful additions to our wonderful project!

10:30 - 12:00 – collage workshop

Can you make a creature from cut-outs of vegetables? An inviting dinner set from faces in magazines? This one is for you.

12:30 - 14:00 – plate creations

Make each plate look delicious by covering it in glitter and foam shapes. Yum!

You must book in advance through our Eventbrite page

Please book a ticket for each child attending. We do ask that adults stay and enjoy the activity with their kids, but no booking required! If you need to cancel your place, please do so at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. This is so that we have time to re-advertise and re-allocated your place to someone else.
